Los Esperamos

The Camino de Santiago was one of the most important Christian pilgrimages during medieval times, and a pilgrimage route on which a plenary indulgence could be earned.

Also the way is more than the accomplishment of a determined physical route. It means the road ahead to achieve a defined goal, and every pilgrim theirs, something that perfectly reflected the following sayings:

  • There are as many ways as Pilgrims.

  • The Road to Santiago begins at your doorstep

  • A thousand ways, a Destiny.

There are many ways to do this pilgrimage, and we are going to travel one of them by walk, the last 100km of the portuguese road. This road starts in Tui, a city bordering the frontier between Spain and Portugal, and follows up going to the north, passing by Redondela, Pontevedra, Caldas, Padron and finally Santiago de Compostela.

Our trip includes:

-transfer from the airport (Santiago)

-all the steps planned

-5 nights in doble room with full board in each step of the way

-4 milongas at the afternoon before dinner in each step of the way

-milonga de Gala at the last night in Santiago de Compostela

-english, portuguese and spanish spoken

We are going to give you all the information and help you if you want to get “the compostelana”, The Credential of the Camino de Santiago, successor to the original document given to the pilgrims during the Middle Ages and that was used as a pass, is a document given to walkers to certify them as a pilgrim and serves to record their passage through distinct locations along any of the pilgrimage routes. It is like a guide to the Camino de Santiago in which the pilgrim is registering your trip. The official text to certifies that walkers have completed the Way and, is applicable to those who have covered at least, the last 100 kilometres on foot or on horseback or, if by bike the last 200km, for spiritual reasons.

Our trip was planned to be done in the easiest way possible, with length between 25-30 km each step, so we have enough time to rest in each one of them. At the same time, we will be able to dance tango with some Galician dancers who will come with us and to eat the same very good food that gives prestige to this region of Spain.

We are going to give you a service to keep a little extra baggage by car. This trip have a limited capacity except the gala dinner that, with previous reservation, will be open for registration for local dancers.

The steps are:

-welcome and first night in Tui

-pass for Redondela and 2dn night at the neighborhood

-pass for Pontevedra and 3st night in Poio

-pass for Caldas de Reis and 4st night in Valga

-pass for Padron and last night in Santiago de Compostela

Total price camino: transfer, 5 night hotel doble room full board, 5 milongas: 580€ total each person

Total price camino with complete tango weekend : transfer, 7 night hotel doble room full board, 11 milongas: 800€ total each person
